Having attended the USA property seminar in January 2013, Yew Kong Lye, Chris Gatt & Eddie Borg all opened my eyes to a new investment opportunity market in the US.

Having attended the USA property seminar in January 2013, Yew Kong Lye, Chris Gatt & Eddie Borg all opened my eyes to a new investment opportunity market in the US. They all told their stories and experiences having all invested themselves in the US with lower entry points and greater returns.


I felt this was right for me & I wanted to learn more. I went to more US Seminars while sorting out my finances – Once I knew what I could afford to spend, I enrolled to go on the USA Property Tour set for 22nd September 2013.


We visited Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando & Houston – All cities I hadn’t been to. I attended the tour hosted by Chris Gatt, who was more than happy to answer any questions I had on the tour.


Having now visited these 4 great cities, each city is so different in what they have to offer in returns. Every city felt different – Like Forrest Gump said “Life is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re gonna get” – This rang true with each city we visited!


Having been to a few US property seminars I sat down with the consultants in July 2013, I agreed that I wanted to purchase in Atlanta which I did – I took action as life rewards action! I was committed and determined. I was assisted in setting up my LLC & Ozforex Account which allowed me to transfer money from Australia to the USA online.


While on the US Property Tour I set myself 5 simple goals: To travel to the USA with an open mind; To meet and greet the business associates on the ground in the US (i.e. property suppliers, property managers, bank consultants, etc); To open a US bank account; to ask as many questions as possible about each of the properties we saw and to take as many photo’s as possible of the properties we seen.


I am proud to say I have achieved all of my 5 goals on this tour – I say what I mean and I mean what I say.


Other great perks during this tour are the fact you have the chance to travel overseas to great cities, meeting great people, time to do some sight seeking in each of these great cities & mixing with the locals.


During the tour I purchased 2 more properties – 1 in Chicago & a second property in Atlanta. I was able to achieve this as I knew my numbers & finances before I left, have a supportive wife and having a great team of mentors who educated me through the whole process.


I have a lot to be thankful for – Thank you Yew Kong, Chris Gatt & Eddie Borg.

I approached Chris Gatt as a Mortgage Broker after having spoken to a few other mortgage specialists. Whereas the other brokers had received my financial details and came up basically with no results, Chris was able to facilitate a mortgage with a Big four bank in a relative short time despite having to work within constraints of one of the borrowers being overseas.


Chris is extremely personable, highly professional and most importantly to the borrower…understands quickly the borrower’s circumstances and then tailors a solution that fits. I especially appreciate the fact that he anticipated my thoughts and kept me informed of the application status at all times.
